Would they be really considered ‘men’?
The Battle over Conservative Masculinity, from Bush I to Trump | National Review
I am grateful for a number of Trump’s policies. Some of his actions —
including his Supreme Court nominations — have been better than Bush’s.
Some have been worse. But a nation and a movement that is attempting
not just to construct a government but also to build a culture would do
well to abandon the fake masculinity of the current president in favor
of the true character and strength of the man who has passed.George H. W. Bush a wimp? No, he was a man in full. Decency requires
strength. The conservative movement (and our nation) would do well to
remember that vital truth.

Renewably Useless: Dynamite Needed
The right thing to do is to plow under or dynamite the wind and solar
installations. But, wind and solar are still being built, because it is
in the financial interest of important people. The public and the media
are fooled into thinking that wind and solar are useful, due to
pervasive propaganda and faulty analysis.For those readers that
still believe that a global warming catastrophe is looming, you should
know that wind and solar are not a good methods for reducing carbon
dioxide emissions. The cost of a carbon offset created by wind or solar
is around $150. That same carbon offset can be purchased for $10 from
various sources. A carbon offset is a reduction of one metric ton of CO2
emissions.

Obituary of Common Sense
Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
– Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
– Why the early bird gets the worm;
– Life isn’t always fair;
– And maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).
His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.
Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death,
-by his parents, Truth and Trust,
-by his wife, Discretion,
-by his daughter, Responsibility,
-and by his son, Reason.
He is survived by his 5 stepbrothers;
– I Know My Rights
– I Want It Now
– Someone Else Is To Blame
– I’m A Victim
– Pay me for Doing Nothing
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.
If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.
Beware of the subtle attempt to replace the phrase “Natural Rights” with the new phrase “human rights”. The classic phrase “Natural Rights” provides us with an actual compass; with some fairly clear concept of what we are referring to. Rights that are natural relate to nature; to that which is uninvented and uncontrived by men. Therefore they cannot be rightfully taken by men. But whatever has been granted by men can be revoked by men. Natural Rights have to do with what is most immediate to, and inseparable from my being. The phrase “human right” is an utterly ambiguous phrase. The word “human” may have clear biological meaning but no inherent moral significance. What is fit for “humans” is in the eye of the beholder, and this is precisely how those on the far Left want it. They desire is for such matters to be handed over to, and defined by the state and its supporting inteligensia. Your rights are what we say they are. If the state says the right of free speech is to be exchanged for the right to medical benefits, or to some other benefit, then these are your rights; unless of course the state decides to alter them again.
